Behavior Code
Synergy strives to maintain a positive learning atmosphere that is conducive to learning for all dancers. Our classroom expectations are :
- Be prompt, on time, and prepared for all classes. If you are late, knock on the door, open it slightly and wait for the teacher to address you. Ask for permission to enter the class late.
- Wear the proper attire for each class as outlined in the Dress Code. Remember, your hair is part of the dress code and must always be up and out of your face.
- Do not chew gum in class.
- Always display a positive attitude. Don’t shout, disturb a class in progress, or leave a mess while waiting in the lobby.
- Display excellent behavior and listening skills in class. Do not hold conversations with others while in class. Give your teacher your undivided attention at all times.
- When given a correction, show willingness to improve by practicing and/or repeating it.
- Be a leader. All dancers are expected to be role models for other dancers.
- Thank your instructor at the end of each class.
